You get the remote pictured on the right in the first photo to replace the original.

NOTE: If your original IXL remote has 6 buttons but doesn't look the same as the photo on the left, it will be Version V2, if your IXL remote has 5 Buttons choose the 5 Button Version V1.

Comes fully programmed for IXL (6 BUTTON) HEATED LIGHT/EXHAUST FAN.

Just put batteries in and it's ready to go, no pairing or syncing required!

The original IXL V3 remote has a Red Dip Switch Block with Two Dip Switches in the battery compartment! (see below) it also has a Redish Black plastic window/lens on the top end.

**PLEASE NOTE: On your original remote there are two switches in the battery compartment (see below), the remote normally comes with switch No.1 in the on (up) position and switch No.2 in the off (down position), providing nobody has played with them.

Please check to see if your original remote's switches are in these positions, if not let me know what positions they are in as it is crucial to the programming of our replacement remote!!!

Smart Switch Operation.
Remote dip switch settings:
The factory preset of the Dip Switches is for Europe (20min fan run-on), all other country/regions are to reset dip switches as per local ventilation requirements.
Recommended settings as per details shown in Figs. 1 & 2 below.

40 Minute Delay Off:
This Tastic has a power saving feature which will automatically switch off all functions except the centre lights approximately 40 minutes after the last signal is received from the IR remote handset, provided the last signal was one of the following button operations:
FAN +, FAN -, HEAT + and HEAT - .

20 Minute Auto Run-on Fan (Required in European Countries)
Each time the fan is switched on, it will run for a minimum of 20 minutes. If you switch the fan OFF during this time, the fan will run-on for the remainder of the 20 minutes. If you switch the fan OFF after the fan has run for at least 20 minutes, the fan will stop.

ALSO NOTE: THIS V3 VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE IXL REMOTE THAT LOOKS THE SAME BUT HAS BLACK DIP SWITCHES IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT OR LOOKS LIKE ANY OF THE THREE PHOTOS BELOW, WE DO NOT HAVE A REPLACEMENT AT THIS STAGE FOR THAT REMOTE, HOWEVER WE CAN REPAIR YOUR ORIGINAL REMOTE.
