I hope this finds you well. Some 3.5 years ago, I contacted you for some assistance with an obsolete wall controller. I subsequently lost track of where I had filed the email and your contact details. You explained over the phone how to repair the LCD screen, and after our neighbours pulled out their system I was able to practice on theirs; consequently I was able to fix it, completely! I am writing to say thank you, you were very generous with your assistance and haave helped keep an otherwise operational system from landfill. You said you were retired and just trying to help people. I am now in the same situation and I am doing a similar thing with computers and some other (architectural) skills. Hi Wayne, Just wanted to advise that I received my fan remotes, in good condition, thanks. Looks like they arrived around 13 Sept as I found them on my desk when I got back to work after 16 Sept. My apologies for taking so long to let you know but I’ve been sick with this viral flu and then crazy busy at work after I returned. Never seemed to get enough time to sort everything out! Remotes are working well and it’s nice to have control with all the buttons for the fan speeds. Appreciate your time and advice about repairing and keeping them rather than shelling out for new fans.
